Lexus Enform

7/25/2014—Lexus owners, consider this a friendly invitation to drop into the wider Lexus Drivers Site from time to time (meaning: please do it every chance you get).

Often, we point you to your owners-only benefits, but this time we advise taking a look at the Lexus Enform section, where Lexus has been adding videos galore to help you get to know this handy feature.

Lexus Enform[1], as experienced Lexus owners know, is a collection of systems whose capabilities are far too numerous to list here but include 24-hour navigation assistance, emergency services at the press of a button, and an available suite of popular in-vehicle apps[2] such as Bing, Yelp, and Facebook Places.

The latest Enform videos feature our new-Lexus-owner hero, shown above, who (among other adventures) uses the Lexus Enform App Suite to prepare himself for a major task: popping a certain question.

This got us thinking about how many new Lexus owners in the real world have yet to try this particular aspect of Lexus Enform, so here’s a quick Lexus Enform App Suite primer:

Bing

Bing: Search a continuously updated database of more than 16 million points of interest, get directions, and call with the touch of a button[3].

iHeart Radio: This one gives you access to more than 750 local radio stations from across the country, as well as exclusive artist content.

iHeart Radio

MovieTickets.com

MovieTickets.com: Without leaving your Lexus, find movies, check local start times, and purchase tickets for this summer’s films such as Hercules (Dwayne Johnson as a sword for hire), Boyhood (shot with the same child actor over a 12-year period), and Lucy (with Scarlett Johansson as a super-smart heroine capable of using 100 percent of the human brain).

OpenTable®: Search restaurants by cuisine, real-time availability, and price range; read diner ratings and reviews; and make reservations. If you live near L.A., make those reservations at Animal restaurant, where chefs Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo now give Lexus owners a “complimentary treat” from the kitchen.

Pandora

Pandora®: Using the names of artists or songs you love, create and listen to personalized music stations or playlists.

Yelp®: Look for a local place to eat, shop, drink, relax, and play, as well as read local reviews. Bonus: get directions sent to your Lexus vehicle’s navigation system[4].

Yelp

Facebook Places

Facebook Places: Check-in and notify your Facebook friends when pulling up to venues.

Saved Destinations: Get quick access to saved destination folders, where you can browse up to 200 of your recent destinations.

Saved Destinations

Note that select 2014 Lexus models also offer available subscription-free data apps such as the Fuel Prices app, which allows you to search for stations by price, brand, distance, or grade; the Sports app, which offers access to team schedules, scores, and news; and the Stocks app, which allows access to personalized stock quotes and related information.
