LEXUS NEWS
Detroit Auto Show

01/23/2013—Lexus’s new display-area design at the Detroit auto show is a spectacular show of lights and premium automobiles. Lexus wishes you could join us in person, but here’s the next best thing: a few shots from the ground.

The 2014 Lexus IS, revealed last week, is the centerpiece. Completely redesigned, the vehicle has an LFA-inspired cockpit, as well as the first Lexus transmission equipped with G force Artificial Intelligence (G-AI). This system maintains the current gear through a corner, preventing a shift that would upset the balance of the car through the corner.

In other areas, the display’s “mediascape” walls surround select Lexus vehicles, and LED floor panels glow different colors to highlight performance models like the LFA Nürburgring edition and Lexus F SPORT.
