state as a point of reference to begin a destination search.
I selected my destinations on LexusDrivers.com. What now?
It's easy. Now, click on the "Send Changes Now" button and look for the icon to change
from red to green. This means the destinations have been sent wirelessly to your vehicle.
Then go to the vehicle, start it, go to the navigation screen, press "Info," "Points of Interest,"
click "Download" and "Yes" to confirm. The destinations will appear exactly as you organized them on your
computer through LexusDrivers.com.

you can make a hands-free call by selecting the phone number on the Info Tab.
Note: Call can only be made while vehicle is stopped.

Not at this time.
I have already enrolled in my trial subscription. Why am I receiving a message on my navigation screen instructing me to enroll?
If it is your first time operating Destination Assist, you may see a pop-up instructing you to enroll.
This is a one-time default prompt that can be bypassed by proceeding to make a call to a Lexus Enform®
response center agent using the appropriate buttons on your navigation screen.
Once the first Destination Assist call is complete, the pop-up warning should be turned off.

Is there an indicator in my vehicle that will tell me whether I am within cellular range?
There is an icon on the Navigation System screen that indicates if the device is in cell coverage while operating
Destination Assist. The number of bars on the icon increases with the strength of the signal.
Safety Connect® Services
How do I know the system works?
The Safety Connect system will display a green light by the SOS button-this light indicates the service is active.
If a red light is illuminated, there may be a problem with the vehicle hardware and it should be brought to
an authorized Lexus dealer.
If I cancel my enrollment or my trial expires and I choose not to renew, will the light in my vehicle change from green to red, or will it just turn off?
If you choose to deactivate your vehicle, the small overhead LED light will turn off. If the vehicle cannot be reached
for 120 days-the vehicle has not been used or is in an area of limited cellular connectivity-the vehicle light may
remain green even though service has been turned off. See your Lexus dealer for assistance.
What does the green light near my SOS button mean?
The green indicator shows that the system is active. All new vehicles purchased should have a green light before the
customer leaves the dealership. When you are connected with a response center agent, the green light will flash on and off.
Press and hold the SOS button to cancel the call, or stay on the line for the operator to respond.
If my Navigation System malfunctions, is my Safety Connect service compromised?
Not necessarily. The Navigation System and Safety Connect product are separate hardware units.
If you are experiencing problems with your Navigation System, the Lexus Enform® services that utilize the
navigation such as eDestination, Destination Assist and Lexus Insider may not work, but Safety Connect services
will not be affected. If you are experiencing issues with your Navigation System, your Lexus dealer can help
diagnose the problem.
Safety Connect® Emergency Assistance Button (SOS)
What happens if the SOS button is accidentally pressed?
The Safety Connect operator will answer the call. If there is no verbal response from the vehicle's
occupants, the operator will dispatch emergency personnel to the vehicle location. In the event
the button is accidentally pressed and the vehicle's occupants are safe and able to respond,
they can push the button again to cancel or have the operator end the call, and no emergency
personnel will be dispatched.
Can a customer request destination services by pushing the SOS button?
No, SOS is a priority line for emergency situations only. If a customer asks for Destination Assist,
they will be kindly told how to request destination services.
Safety Connect® Stolen Vehicle Location
What do I do if my vehicle is stolen?
With Safety Connect, the customer must file a stolen vehicle report with the police. Once filed,
Safety Connect will initiate tracking of the vehicle and report the location to the police.
If my vehicle is stolen and the battery runs down or is disconnected, is Safety Connect still activated for the locator to work?
For Safety Connect to work, it must have battery power. Backup battery is included on select vehicles where the
location of the main battery is vulnerable to damage in a severe crash.
If my vehicle is in a bad cell area, will the system work?
Safety Connect works on one of the nation's largest cellular providers that also has roaming
agreements with other carriers. In addition, Safety Connect's external
antenna and retry (redial) process may connect when a customer's cell phone will not. If there is
no coverage from either the primary or secondary cellular source, Safety Connect will not work.
eDestination may not work in areas with limited data cellular coverage.
Safety Connect® Enhanced Roadside Assistance
I already receive Lexus Roadside Assistance with my current Lexus vehicle, how is Lexus Enform® Enhanced Roadside Assistance different?
Safety Connect offers Enhanced Roadside Assistance, which provides your vehicle's GPS coordinates
directly to your Safety Connect response center agent and to Roadside Assistance.

If I choose to receive the Lexus Insider articles, will I have to listen to every message Lexus sends?
No. When a new Lexus Insider article is available, a notification will appear on the navigation screen when the
vehicle is first powered on. While it is on-screen, you can choose to ignore incoming messages.
If you select "Ignore," the new article will not play, but will be saved to your articles list.
You can also customize your Lexus Insider settings at your convenience through your navigation screen,
including deciding to opt in or opt out of receiving Lexus Insider articles or to receive or stop receiving new

have been received by visiting the Lexus Insider menu. Refer to your

How do I see my Lexus Insider messages?
If your Lexus Insider new-article notification setting is on (default option), a pop-up notification
will display on your navigation screen for approximately six seconds when the vehicle is first powered on.
While it is onscreen, select "Listen Now" to play your new article.
To view or play previously downloaded articles if you have a Remote Touch controller, select "Menu" button on the side
of the Remote Touch controller, then select "Info. Phone" from the "Start" screen. Select "Lexus Insider" from your
"Information" screen, and the Lexus Insider screen appears with a listing of your downloaded articles.

hard button on the navigation console. Select "Lexus Insider" from your "Information" screen, and the Lexus Insider

General
If I have Safety Connect, do I receive a discount on my car insurance?
In some cases there may be a discount on insurance, depending upon your purchased level of
vehicle coverage. Contact your insurance provider.
What is the PIN or passcode I selected during my enrollment used for?
The passcode is designed to ensure that only the primary or secondary subscriber can make changes to
your account. For your protection, you must provide your passcode to the response agent if you are calling
to report a stolen vehicle.
Do I use the same passcode to login to eDestination as the one that I signed up with at the dealership?
The passcode used to enroll at the dealership is not used to access eDestination. Access to eDestination requires
a valid LexusDrivers.com account and an active Lexus Enform® subscription.
Tip: For easy-to-remember access, the passcode or PIN provided during enrollment should also be your LexusDrivers.com password.
If Safety Connect can track my vehicle, how will you protect my privacy?
The protection of our customer's information and privacy is paramount to Lexus. A Safety Connect vehicle can be
located with GPS if there is an airbag deployment or severe rear-end collision (the vehicle is not tracked in these
instances, only located to direct emergency responders). To activate stolen vehicle tracking through Safety Connect,
the Safety Connect response center must have a police report on file to ensure there is an actual theft involved.
The Stolen Vehicle Location feature is designed to locate a vehicle, not an individual.

A Lexus Enform® App Suite account supports four secondary users. If you already have four secondary users, you'll have to delete one secondary user before adding a new one. If you are a secondary user, ask the primary account holder to create a secondary user. If you own two Lexus Enform® App Suite-equipped vehicles registered under the same Lexus Enform® App Suite account, and you already have four secondary users, create a primary account for the second vehicle. Each vehicle can then have four secondary users.
Why can't I change my account information on the Lexus Enform® Account Management Website?
The same email cannot be used by multiple accounts, so make sure you're not trying to update one email address to one that is already in use. Either choose a different email address for one of the accounts or delete the account that uses this same email address. If you are updating your password in the Edit Account window, enter the old and new password where requested and make sure they match correctly to complete the update. Also, only enter real information in each field or leave empty; pressing only space bar in an empty field may cause an error. Finally, check the address you are using. Lexus Enform® App Suite only accepts U.S. addresses.
Secondary Users
Why have I not received my invitation to register as a secondary user?
Verify that the primary account user sent your invitation to the correct email address. If your email client treated your invitation as spam, make sure you define as safe all email from LexusEnformAppSuite.com. Ask the primary account holder to first delete the existing invitation, then create and send a new invitation.
Why can't I send an invitation for someone to become a secondary user?
If you already have four secondary users associated with your account, delete an existing secondary user before sending a new invitation. If you are inviting someone whose email address is already associated with an existing account, ask them for an alternate email. Or, have the person delete the other Lexus Enform® App Suite account associated with the email address to which you are sending the invitation. If you are the secondary user, ask the primary account user to send the invitation.
Why can't I access MovieTickets.com, OpenTable and/or Pandora® from my secondary account?
First, make sure your account for each of these services is linked to your Lexus Enform® App Suite account. If you don't already have an account for each, you must create one to use these apps on Lexus Enform® App Suite. Either use the Lexus Enform® App Suite Website or use your computer's browser to visit these companies online and follow instructions for creating an account. If you forgot your password, reset your Lexus Enform® App Suite account password, or if the primary account holder deleted your account, ask him or her for a new invitation.
I bought my own Lexus Enform® App Suite-equipped vehicle but can't register for service. Why?
If you are already a secondary user on a different account, delete your existing secondary account and then create a new primary account, or ask the existing primary account holder to add your vehicle to his/her account. You will then be a secondary user for all vehicles associated with that account.

Available Apps
Which apps are included in Lexus Enform® App Suite?
The third party apps supported through Lexus Enform® are:
Bing - Search for points-of-interest using the web search engine from Microsoft. Map a particular point as a destination using the vehicle's navigation system or phone if using the vehicle's hands-free phone capability.
iHeartRadio - Access more than 750 of America's favorite local radio stations. Enjoy unique artist-hosted channels, commercial-free shows and some of the best DJs and hosts across the country. Listen to local news, weather, and traffic stations.
MovieTickets.com - Search for theaters, movies and show times. View star ratings, purchase tickets, call a theatre or map its location using the vehicle's navigation system.
OpenTable - Search from over 20,000 U.S. restaurants. Make a reservation, call a restaurant or map its location using the vehicle's navigation system. Earn OpenTable Dining Rewards points.
Pandora - Personalize Internet radio stations based on your favorite artists or songs. Discover new music mixed in with the music you already know.
Facebook Places - After you arrive at your destination, use Facebook Places to tell your friends where you are.
Yelp - See crowd-sourced reviews for restaurants, shopping centers, spas, nightclubs and more. Find your location and use the vehicle's navigation system to get directions.
Daily use of Pandora or iHeartRadio may have an impact on your cellular data plan. You can look at the data calculators provided on your cellular carrier's website or speak with your wireless carrier to understand what data plans fit you best. As reported by Pandora, average listeners use about 14 megabytes per hour, about 148 megabytes per month.
What if I already have accounts with these providers? Do I have to create new accounts just for Lexus Enform® App Suite?
No, if you already have an existing account for any of the applications, you can simply link them to your App Suite account during registration. This allows vehicle integration and gives you the ability to utilize the various in-vehicle controls.
Does Lexus Enform® App Suite recognize when I make changes or updates within the applications?
Yes. If you personalize music from Internet radio apps (iHeartRadio and Pandora) using your desktop computer or stand-alone mobile app, Lexus Enform® App Suite will recognize the changes. If you personalize MovieTickets.com and OpenTable, App Suite will recognize those too.
Does Lexus Enform® App Suite control the applications on my mobile phone?
Enform does not control any apps on your phone except for the Lexus Enform® app itself. Though the Lexus Enform® mobile app must be running in order to use the Lexus Enform® App Suite system, you are locked out of the Lexus Enform® mobile app so you can focus on the in-vehicle controls instead. Therefore, when your phone is connected, you can use any app on your phone with the exception of the Lexus Enform® app.
Can Lexus Enform® apps be used while driving?
All applications are fully accessible when in Park. Though some features are partially available to the driver while the vehicle is moving:
Bing: You can search for points of interest using voice recognition.
Facebook Places: You must be in park to use this application.
iHeartRadio and Pandora: You can select among existing stations and search for an artist or song using voice recognition.
MovieTickets.com: You can search for theatres, movies and show times. View star ratings, call a theatre or map its location in the vehicle's navigation.
OpenTable: You can search restaurants, make a reservation, call a restaurant or map its location in the vehicle's navigation.
Yelp: You can access a limited number of recent searches and search limited number of categories. You can call or map to the POI, view hours and star ratings.
What other apps are you planning to add? When will these be available?
Lexus is always looking for ways to enhance the driving experience. Facebook Places and Yelp are our two latest additions. There are several apps that are being considered in future iterations, and will be announced at the time of availability. Lexus created a flexible and adaptable system that offers easy upgrades for new applications and services.
Will you include apps for social networking sites such as Facebook or Foursquare?
Enform App Suite will offer Facebook Places and give you the opportunity to Check-In and tell friends where you are.
Is Lexus Enform® App Suite an open platform for app developers?
We are not an open platform. Lexus will have a hand in all content in our vehicles to control the look and feel, with the goal of a best-in-class result based on our customer research. We also will assess if particular content is appropriate in a vehicle. We are already looking at new apps for future inclusion.
What apps have not been previously featured for in-vehicle use in luxury vehicles?
Enform App Suite will be the first luxury vehicle system to support Bing, iHeartRadio, MovieTickets.com and OpenTable.
What is Bing?
Bing is a Web search engine from Microsoft. Bing is the on-line source for points-of-interest in Lexus Enform® App Suite.
How does the navigation work with Bing?
Bing provides points-of-interest searching. From within Enform, you can send a selected POI to the on-board navigation system. Microsoft and Lexus have partnered on projects for a number of years, so choosing Bing for POI data was only natural. With over 16,000,000 points-of-interest and a robust API, Bing provides both choice and ease-of-use.
Isn't it odd that Microsoft is working with you while they are developing their own competing solution?
No. We see this as a demonstration of Microsoft's flexibility.
Why are you providing multiple apps that do the same thing? (Movies on Bing, navigation on Bing)
None of the apps do exactly the same thing. You can search only for points of interest using Bing, and then send that information to the vehicle's navigation system. The applications chosen for the App Suite are designed with our customers in mind and each provides its own enhancement to the total in-car experience.
What is iHeartRadio?
iHeartRadio allows you to access more than 750 of America's favorite local radio stations, as well as unique hosted channels from artists such as Christina Aguilera, the Eagles, and Weezer. You can listen to local traffic reports and commercial-free shows from Ryan Seacrest, Elvis Duran and some of the best DJs and hosts from across the country.
What is MovieTickets.com?
MovieTickets.com, the world leader in the online movie ticketing business, offers a convenient way to buy movie tickets in advance, by phone or online. You can buy tickets, access local show times and theater information, and much more.
What is OpenTable?
OpenTable is a real-time restaurant reservation network that gives you a live connection into the same computerized reservation books used by thousands of the country's best restaurants. Restaurant reservations can be made 24 hours a day, and diners earn valuable OpenTable Dining Rewards for making reservations online.
Are all restaurants on OpenTable?
No, but more than 20,000 restaurants are connected with OpenTable.
What is Pandora?
Pandora is personalized Internet radio designed to help you discover new music you'll love mixed in with music you already know. Pandora is powered by the most comprehensive analysis of music ever undertaken, the Music Genome Project. The project started over ten years ago using a large team of highly trained musicians to capture the complex musical DNA of songs.
Will Pandora be ad-free?
Pandora delivered via Lexus Enform® functions the same as Pandora delivered on your mobile phone via its own mobile application. Lexus Enform® App Suite will support standard, ad-supported Pandora and Pandora's "One" subscription.
What's the difference between iHeartRadio and Pandora?
Pandora tries to match music to your tastes based on what you like and don't like. iHeartRadio connects you to actual stations around the country. Pandora and iHeartRadio are both Internet radio providers that let you create customized listening experiences based on your musical tastes. The only difference is that one service may have certain song selections not provided by the other.
What is Facebook Places?
Facebook Places offers Lexus Drivers the ability to 'Check-in' once they've arrived at their Destination. You can also Tag Friends and update your Facebook wall to let your Friends know that you've checked in using Lexus Enform.
What is Yelp?
Yelp provides online, local crowd-sourced reviews on many types of establishments, including restaurants, bars, coffee houses, and more. You can filter listings by price, distance or rating. Yelp offers establishment reviews left by other users and you can view establishment details such as noise level, attire and parking information. Once you've selected your destination, call the business using the vehicle's hands-free system and view the location on your navigation screen.
Will Lexus Enform® apps operate if the cell signal momentarily vanishes?
Apps such as Bing, which are essentially mobile-optimized Websites, require a cell signal to operate. They may become non-responsive while waiting for a more reliable signal. Other apps, notably iHeartRadio and Pandora, have some built-in buffering capability that may be enough to bridge a momentary interruption of signal. However, if a signal interruption is long enough to empty the buffer, the music will stop. In summary, Lexus Enform® itself does not buffer data, but instead follows each app's individual buffering strategy and capabilities.
When I'm away from my vehicle, can I use Lexus Enform® on my smartphone?
Some of the Lexus Enform® apps work while away from the vehicle. Specifically, Bing, Movietickets.com and OpenTable can all be used within the Lexus Enform® app. You can save a point of interest, restaurant location or theater location, then transfer that location to the vehicle's navigation system using eDestination. Other applications such as Yelp and Facebook Places, are an in-car only experience. However, to enjoy these apps outside the car, simply use the stand-alone apps on your smartphone.
IHeartRadio and Pandora are part of Lexus Enform® App Suite, so can I listen to them on my smartphone when I'm not in my vehicle?
IHeartRadio and Pandora for Lexus Enform® app suite both work through independent, stand-alone apps on your smartphone, separate from your Lexus Enform® mobile app. To enjoy Internet radio while away from your vehicle, simply use those stand-alone apps.
MovieTickets
Why can't I buy movie tickets using "Quick Check Out"?
If you don't yet have a credit card saved at MovieTickets.com, sign in to your MovieTickets.com account and save a credit card.
Why can't I buy movie tickets while driving?
Some app functions are disabled while the vehicle is moving. Please try again when the vehicle is safely parked.
I am getting no results, or incorrect results, when I attempt Voice Search for MovieTickets. Why?
There are several reasons this could be happening, so try these options to correct the problem:
- You may be pronouncing the movie name incorrectly. Speak clearly and with volume so the system can recognize your request.
- MovieTickets does not cover every region, nor does it carry tickets for every film. There may also be no nearby cinema playing the movie you want to see. If you think one of these variables may apply to your situation, check if the movie can be found by searching the Lexus Enform® MovieTickets app on your handset, using the standalone MovieTickets app or on MovieTickets.com.
- There may be noise in the vehicle obscuring your voice, so make sure the windows are rolled up and there is no background noise when you do your Voice Search.
I'm having other issues with MovieTickets.com. Why?
This could be for a few reasons:
- You have not yet created an account at MovieTickets.com. Create an account at MovieTickets.com and then link that account to your Lexus Enform® App Suite account.
- You have not yet linked your MovieTickets.com account to your Lexus Enform® App Suite account. On the Lexus Enform® Account Management website, link your MovieTickets.com account to your Lexus Enform® App Suite account.
- The account information you entered at MovieTickets.com and the information you entered in the Lexus Enform® Account Management section don't match. Verify that the username (email address) and password you use at MovieTickets.com are the same as what you entered in the Lexus Enform® Account Management section.
- You recently changed your password at MovieTickets.com. Sign in to your Lexus Enform® App Suite account and update the account information for the linked MovieTickets.com account.
OpenTable
Why can't I make restaurant reservations while driving?
You can make reservations while driving.
I'm having other issues with OpenTable.com. Why?
This could be for a few reasons:
- You have not yet created an account at OpenTable.com. Create an account at OpenTable.com and then link that account to your Lexus Enform® App Suite account.
- You have not yet linked your OpenTable.com account to your Lexus Enform® App Suite account. On the Lexus Enform® Account Management section, link your OpenTable.com account to your Lexus Enform® App Suite account.

I am getting no results, or incorrect results, when I try to do Voice Search with Open Table. Why?
There are several reasons this could be happening, so try these options to correct the problem:
- You may not have made your request in the correct order. Voice Searches follow these parameters: "Find a table at <time> for <party size> at <restaurant name>."
- You may have forgotten to say what time you want the reservation for. Try again and include a time.
- You must be within 20 miles of the restaurant when making a reservation. Check its location, and see if you are within 20 miles, try again.
- You may be pronouncing the restaurant name incorrectly. Speak clearly and with volume so the system can recognize your request. Also, make sure the restaurant is in the Open Table system by searching for it on your Lexus Enform® OpenTable app on the handset, using the standalone OpenTable app or on OpenTable.com
- There may be noise in the vehicle obscuring your voice, so make sure the windows are rolled up and there is no background noise when you do your Voice Search.
Pandora
Why am I noticing poor quality audio when using Pandora?
You may have a weak signal, and Pandora reception depends on a robust cellular signal. When you drive into an area with a stronger signal, your Pandora audio quality should improve automatically.
Why doesn't Pandora work using Bluetooth?
Only the Pandora app packaged with the Lexus Enform® app works with Bluetooth, so make sure you're not using a stand-alone Pandora app.
I'm having other issues with Pandora. Why?
There are several reasons this could be happening, so try these options to correct the problem:
- You have not yet created an account at Pandora.com. Create an account at Pandora.com and then link that account to your Lexus Enform® App Suite account.
- You have not yet linked your Pandora.com account to your Lexus Enform® App Suite account. On the Lexus Enform® Account Management section of the site link your Pandora.com account to your Lexus Enform® App Suite account.
- The account information you entered at Pandora.com and the information you entered at the Lexus Enform® App Suite section don't match. Verify that the username (email address) and password you use at Pandora.com are the same as what you entered at the Lexus Enform® App Suite section.
- You recently changed your password at Pandora.com. Sign in to Lexus Enform® Account Management and update the account information for the linked Pandora.com account.
I am getting no results, or incorrect results, when I try to do Voice Search for Pandora. Why?
There are several reasons this could be happening, so try these options to correct the problem:
- You may be requesting an artist or song not supported by Pandora. Check the Pandora standalone app or Pandora.com to make sure the system has this artist or song in its database.
- You may be pronouncing the artist or song name incorrectly. Speak clearly and with volume so the system can recognize your request.
- There may be noise in the vehicle obscuring your voice, so make sure the windows are rolled up and there is no background noise when you do your Voice Search.

Connectivity Issues
Why can't I download and/or install the Lexus Enform® app on my phone?
If your iPhone was "jail broke" or your Android phone was "rooted," your mobile device will not support the Lexus Enform® app. To make sure you are using a supported smartphone, visit www.lexus.com/mobilelink. Lexus Enform® App Suite also requires a supported smartphone with a data plan, so verify that your device has one.
Why am I unable to sign in to the Lexus Enform® app?
One of several issues may be causing this:
- You haven't yet registered on LexusDrivers.com and/or set up your Lexus Enform® account. Be sure to first join Lexus Drivers and then click on the Lexus Enform® Account Management icon to complete the Lexus Enform® registration process. Then, sign in to the Lexus Enform® app using the email and password you created when you registered your Lexus Enform® App Suite account.

- Your phone is not set to use in English. Please update your language settings.
Why did the Lexus Enform® app stop working on my iPhone?
The Lexus Enform® app for iPhone runs correctly only when it is the foreground app. In other words, do not switch to another app while you are using the Lexus Enform® app.
Why did the Lexus Enform® App Suite services on my phone stop working?
Make sure you have updated to the newest version of the Lexus Enform® app and that you are signed-in to your account when operating the app. If your phone is connected to WiFi, disconnect from the network and try again using your cellular data service.
Built-in Security
How secure is the system? Is it vulnerable to hacking?
The security of the system is extremely important to us. The mobile app is secure, as it requires a connection back to Lexus servers. Lexus Enform® will not take or accept any apps that are not approved by Lexus. The system also uses IP security.
What is the risk of catching a virus during downloading of the mobile application?
In general, mobile phones are not targeted for viruses and malware to the degree personal computers are. Nevertheless, Lexus recommends downloading the Lexus Enform® app only from trusted sources to reduce any risk to the phone. Because Lexus Enform® is not an open system, there is - for all practical purposes - no risk of a viral infection of the vehicle's electronics.
Your Privacy
Are there any privacy concerns? Can a parking valet or service technician access private information?
Enform works with a driver's smartphone, so access is provided only if the smartphone is connected, minimizing the risk of unauthorized access to private information.
How much user behavior is recorded by the system and is this a privacy issue?
Any user activity that is tracked is used only to help create a more rich and robust product for the future. Data is not collected with any personal information, only as aggregated general customer behavior.
Does Lexus Enform® store personal data?
Enform stores the contacts you've entered into the phone book and records previous destinations. You can erase either or both at any time.
